Ambassador Meet-Up Dallas - Recap

 For the 4th time Better Bodies Challenge was held in Stockholm City Conference Centre, this time on March 23rd.

Our goal with Better Bodies Challenge is to create a competition that is inclusive and open to those that want to try out a fitness competition as well as an event day with lots of inspiration and fun together for everyone in the Better Bodies community!

The day started with a bootcamp with Better Bodies ambassador Anna Stålnacke at Gymmet Stockholm in Sweden. She made sure to give a group of strong people a really spicy leg workout before the fitness show at Stockholm City Conference Center. The number of athletes who was competing for the medals were about 200 and they all gave their best!

Everyone presented amazing physiques and you could feel the energy in the whole arena! A big crowd supported the athletes competing and mingled in the Better Bodies booth area during the day.

We truly wanted to show appreciation for all the athletes that have been working hard to get up on stage so this year we made sure all competitors received a Better Bodies goodie bag plus also a surprise clothing item during the registration, which was very welcomed and much appreciated from the athletes. And what could better wrap up the event day than with an after party at our Better Bodies HQ in Hammarby Sjöstad!

We put great value in to offering an open door concept where we welcome and include everyone that wants to be a part of the Better Bodies family!

 to all the approx. 100 people showing up to our office this evening, to our DJ’s making the whole floor shake and also thank you to NOCCO, Barebells and Snackbros for giving us the best snacks to celebrate the day with! We look forward to invite you all to an event like this soon again. We are already looking forward to Better Bodies Challenge 2020 and hope you will join us next year! Throwdown Event May 4-5th

We want to welcome you to a day filled with action and breathtaking crossfit at Solnahallen the first weekend in May in Stockholm Sweden! The Throwdown events is a big Crossfit contest with hundreds of athletes competing about a first place on the price podium!

To add to this Better Bodies will be there as sponsors and have a both where we show up our latest collection of clothes and will have athletes from the brand that compete in crossfit! Also, we have arranged with an own competition where you can win a PT-hour + one week of training at Crossfit Tegen (one famous box located in Solna/Sweden). This competition is an AMRAP (As many reps as possible). Everyone that take part of this quick and spicy AMRAP will be rewarded with a goodiebag with a value of 500 SEK!

SWEDEN THROWDOWN IN SOLNAHALLEN 4-5 MAJ

This past weekend Better Bodies was represented at Sweden Throwdown Crossfit competition in Stockholm, Sweden. Better Bodies is the official apparel partner to Throwdown events 2019 and this was the second competition for the year. A great weekend with around 400 competitors in almost 100 teams.

In our Better Bodies booth we had several Crossfit profiles represented like Victor Ljungdal (Lådan Crossfit),  Måns Pettersson (Innovate Crossfit), John Plogell (Crossfit Puerto Banus), and also Better Bodies ambassador Helene Ahlson (NoxBox).

In collaboration with Tegen Crossfit we had an AMRAP competition with goodie bags to everyone participating, and parts of the Better Bodies assortment was available in the booth.

Ambassador Meet-Up in Stockholm

Better Bodies is a long time supporter of the NPC Knox Classic in Knoxville, TN. This year the show is on August 2nd at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium.

The NPC Knox Classic is a long lasting show that has been going for over 35 years. It has grown each and every year and the response from the competitors has been amazing. The promoters of this show try to go above and beyond the competitors expectations from the time they arrive at the show as to what they will receive at check-ins in their goodie bags to how they are treated throughout the weekend during the show.  The promoters goal is to make the competitors experience the best they have ever had at a bodybuilding competition to make sure they go back home and spread the word about Knox Classic.

This show has an average of around 275 competitors and it continues to grow each year. The trophies are full-sized Taylor Made Trophy sculptures and they place top 5 in every class.  For the local competitors they also have a Mr. Bodybuilding Knox class and as of this year, a Ms. Bikini Knox class.  They also offer a Men's Wheelchair Bodybuilding class.  For more information about the show you can visit 

The venue is the Knoxville Civic Auditorium. The history of

this building is uncanny. It was built in 1961 and has a 6,500-capacity

coliseum and a 2,500-capacity auditorium. The band 

record (at that time) for the fastest sellout to a concert at the Coliseum for

their August 26, 1971, performance. Bob Dyland played there early in his

concert career.  Since then it's seen Duke Elington, Eric Clapton,

Johnny Cash, The Jackson 5, Betty Grable, Gladys Knight, Willie Nelson, Cat

Stevens, Issac Hayes, Bruce Springsteen, The Temptations, the Monkeys and a

bunch of other great entertainers. There have also been 8 former Presidents of

the United States that have spoken there as well. So as you can see there is a

NPC Knox Classic

Gymleco held a summer party celebrating 25 years in the business, and of course we were there to celebrate their anniversary!

As you may know, we are proud to carry a wide selection of Gymleco free plate machines and gear at our gym 

Just like Better Bodies, Gymleco have a similar background

story with their way of building a strong community before social media was a

thing. The Founder Kari Jernvall believes in 50 strong years ahead and similar

to Better Bodies their core key words in business has always been to create gym

equipment for the ones that wants results with their training!

We are happy that so many came to hang out with us this sunny Saturday at Gymmet, Stockholm for our Better Bodies Ambassador Meet-Up

It was so much fun to meet old and new friends within the Better Bodies family - training together, hanging out in the gym and out in the sun, catching up and enjoying this Saturday with likeminded people!

We'd also like to thank Nocco, Barebells and Snack Bros for supporting our Meet-Up with drinks and snacks.

Saturday Fun at Gymmet!

This year we have really pushed the envelope to give back to competitors globally who commit, follow though and win their respective classes in some of our events.

Here we link up with several of the champions from the NPC Battle of Texas promoted by IFBB Pros Sheilahe Brown and Freddy Naidu.

All have different stories however all were met with obstacles, challenges and difficult times that they had to either push through or adapt and overcome.

This is a montage from all of the interviews with several highlights from each competitor. These winners received their national qualification as well as a professional photoshoot and video shoot at destination (GASP and Better Bodies HQ) the following Sunday to commemorate their achievements.

Nothing Beats Hard Work - NPC Battle of Texas

What a weekend! Filled with energy and love (on a 6 feet distance) for the sport!

Unfortunately Luciapokalen 2020, a yearly competition in Stockholm, Sweden, was cancelled just 2 weeks prior to the event. This was of course a big disappointment for the community, the promoters and most of all the athletes who didn't get their chance to step on stage.

As a way to give back to the competitors who had been working so hard preparing for the show, together with Luciapokalen, we arranged for a photoshoot at Stockholmsmassan. We wanted to give these athletes an opportunity to have a nice and fun experience and at the same time receive professional studio shots - at no cost - as a memory of their journey and competition physique.

Big thanks to our photographer Christoffer Snoborgs and our athlete Ashkan Aghili who spent time making this a memorable event. As well as Onsite Tan and Gymleco for their participation.

We appreciate the feedback we received from the athletes who were there, and are happy that we were able to create a memorable weekend despite cancelled competitions.

Despite current restrictions we were able to set up this event in a safe way following all current restrictions. The shoot was free for the ones who signed up. We had a limited number of spots due to the restrictions and the athletes booked their own timeslot online. This way we were able to control the number of people who were there at the same time to a minimal. We almost had a conveyor belt like setup where one athlete was getting photos taken while the next one was getting pumped up and the third was getting tanned.

Our team from Better Bodies and GASP really enjoyed taking care of the athletes this day and we that we were able to encourage and help them capture some memories from what they had worked so hard for. With music in the background and positive energy, this was an event with a great atmosphere.

We'd like to thank everyone who participated in making this event possible, as well as all athletes who took the opportunity to come shoot!

Luciapokalen Giveback Activity

On Friday 19 February, GYMMET opened the doors to its 6th facility GYMMET Sundbyberg.

The gym has an area of ​​900 square meter where you can find everything you need in the form of exercise equipment to have a great workout.

If you like leg training (or need to do more legs), Anna promises that you will not be disappointed - this gym has everything and a little more.

As usual, it is just like at all of GYMMETS facilities; the atmosphere is great! Training-happy members who go all in, everyone is welcome, great music and engaging staff.

If you ever find yourself in Sundbyberg, do not miss to visit gymet for a workout. You will not be disappointed!
