On Friday 19 February, GYMMET opened the doors to its 6th facility GYMMET Sundbyberg.

The gym has an area of ​​900 square meter where you can find everything you need in the form of exercise equipment to have a great workout.

If you like leg training (or need to do more legs), Anna promises that you will not be disappointed - this gym has everything and a little more.

As usual, it is just like at all of GYMMETS facilities; the atmosphere is great! Training-happy members who go all in, everyone is welcome, great music and engaging staff.

If you ever find yourself in Sundbyberg, do not miss to visit gymet for a workout. You will not be disappointed!

Ivana: Absolutely. It tests me mentally, completely exhausts me. It's not easy to have a great workout especially with legs. You cant half ass legs. If you half ass legs you might as well go home.

Ivana Wilkin along with her husband Brett flew to Dallas to link up with a huge crew including world renowned photographer Per Bernal.

Here she is solo and hammers legs. Thus far she has had an amazing "reset" for her body. She is having the best offseason and it has been fruitful in bringing up a lot of her muscle mass as well as mentally rewarding.

Ivana was definitely in her feels pre intra and post leg day and spells out why she appreciates the camaraderie that her and Brett share with the GASP and Better Bodies athletes and team.

Since 2008 we have prioritized a social responsibility project in collaboration with the organization Hand in Hand that fights extreme poverty in the poorest parts of the world.

Hand in Hand created a new thinking among traditional organizations that is very inspiring, where they with the use of very small overhead work more efficiently helps those who are struggling for a better life. With the primary aim of eradicating child labor and instead of doing traditional donor assistance, they help by creating self-employment through business projects for women.

Since we started working with Hand in Hand, we have contributed to the creation of around 500 companies that is all managed, owned and run by entrepreneurial women in the

poorest parts of the world. According to Hand in Hand each company supports more than 5 people from poverty which would mean that we have been helping more than 2 500 people to support themselves to a better life.

Hand in Hand is active in Afghanistan, Cambodia, India, Kenya, Namibia, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe, with fundraising and program support in Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Hand in Hand support the creation of more than 1,000 jobs a day, everyday. Globally, they have supported 2.67 million people to join and run Self-Help Groups, facilitated the start-up of 2.63 million enterprises, and been instrumental in the creation of more than four million jobs.

We are proud to contribute to the empowerment of female entrepreneurs around the world and look forward to go visit some of the business we have helped established within a not too far future.

Motala Fitness Center is owned by Viktor and Linn, both are also competing athletes in Classic Bodybuilding and Wellness. This gym reminds us of our home - Destination Dallas. This gym is modern with an old school vibe and the feeling of coming home is strong when we enter. And of course our logos being up on the walls (Better Bodies, GASP and Destination) reinforces that feeling.

Here everyone is welcome no matter who they are, what level they are on in their

training or what goals they have. Athletes train next to ”Agda 85 years” and ”16 year old Sebastian”. There atmosphere is good in the gym and the support among the members

is strong and everyone are pushing each other to get better.

Motala Fitness Center has been open since 2014 with now 400 active and frequently training

Viktor and Linn’s vision is to create a gym and place where everyone is welcome. And where the members can find everything under the same roof; training (both gym and classes), food, a place to hang out including a kitchen as well as gaming, supplements, clothing etc. They arrange happenings and meet-ups for the members and athletes. Here you can get help with your training, diet, coaching, competition prep, different physical treatments etc. The gym also have its own competition team. Simply, it should be easy and available to access for

everyone and to get the help you need! The couple is also running their own supplement line ”Fantastic Line”.

Viktor talks about how he wants to encourage young boys (that for example have bad

family conditions or just don’t have a place to go) to use the gym as a free zone; train, eat, hang with their friends, play video games etc. This is so much better instead of hanging around with wrong people making bad decisions. He knows because he was one of them. Viktor have had a tough childhood growing up. He moved around a lot to different homes. He didn't really want to be at home and never felt like he even had a safe place to call home.

Details means everything. The equipment and machines are carefully chosen. On the walls you have inspiring posters, logos and pictures. Photos of all the Mr Olympia winners throughout the years decorate the wall above the dumbbells and mirrors. Viktor even welded an angled stand on the hacklift. This to create alternative ways to put your feet and with that hit your muscles in more ways.

A mission for Viktor is to help all kinds of people, especially athletes who has high ambitions. For example he has helped Strong Man competitors and young people within motocross, soccer etc. Not only with the training, food and treatments, but to help them grow their mindset and to believe in themselves. It’s easy to lose motivation and to not have faith in yourself when you are young, especially at setbacks. Viktor find a big purpose in helping people to work with their mindset so they can reach their goals, enjoy what they do and

hopefully be their best version of themselves.

Viktor, Linn and their gym truly breathe a strong purpose and passion that spills over

Jen Peterson is just now "breaking the surface" when it comes to digging into training and pushing limits in order to build the tissue to be competitive and to present a balanced package on stage.

We all have a starting point. For Jen, it is definitely quite a few steps outside of what she is used to.

Jen is married to Chase Peterson who resembles something out of an X-MEN comic book and has some perceived pressures.

Jen is the epitome of someone who loves the sport, the community, the competitive aspect and the structure that training and nutrition provides. Her enthusiasm and bubbly ness for what is to come is akin to that of a kid on Christmas morning. Every visit to destination is another Christmas morning with Chase and a fun get away of sorts that is super constructive and in the same direction as her husband.

We look forward to following Jen and Chase as they both make progress and have fun along the way to the competitive stages this year. Jen is definitely in uncharted territory and with the guidance of Luke she will no doubt make progress and we will make sure to share all of that along with Jen's energy with you all!

Size Doesn't Matter - Just Scratching The Surface

Hard work beats talent WHEN talent doesn't work hard.

In that same breath you can apply the old "what got you here wont get you there" idiom when trying to raise the bar even higher.

There are a lot of superlatives and one liners that are being used here but in the case of Chase Peterson they are necessary to illustrate his talent for bodybuilding but his need to check his ego and do what is necessary to improve certain things to be successful on a world class level.

Chase Peterson is a classic mesomorph (easy gainer of muscle) and has had success early on in bodybuilding competitions. After winning the overall in classic physique at the Johnnie Jackson Classic in 2019 he wanted to switch to open bodybuilding.

Chase goes on to explain his ambitions and why they are so high. In addition to wanting to grace the Olympia stage, he also wants to be the best father to his daughters and husband to his wife Jen Peterson.
